The 2Pro device, a thermally coupled MOV & PPTC device, can help protect against damage caused by overvoltage, overcurrent and overtemperature events. When the MOV heats up, due to the leakage current flowing though the circuit, then PPTC goes from low to high impedance limiting the varistor from overheating and helps to make the system safer, even for low fault current.
