S-video Port Protection

Problem: Transient Surge Voltages and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)

Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can occur during installation and also any time the user disconnects the source from the receiver. This can severely damage the equipment.

Solution: PESD devices

Extremely low capacitance ESD protection devices (PESD) shunt ESD away from sensitive circuitry in electronic devices without inducing signal distortion.
