RJ-45 Ethernet Cable Port Protection

Problem: Short-circuit overload

A shortcircuit overload to the power supply can occur if the central pin in the coaxial cable connection to the receiver is bent or crushed against the connector during installation; it can also occur any time the user disconnects the source from the receiver.

Solution: PolySwitch devices.

PolySwitch devices help limit the flow of dangerously high currents during fault conditions and reset back to normal operating mode once the fault condition is removed.
